Moulin Rouge!: So that the dancers didn’t slip on the wooden floor during the “Like a Virgin” sequence, the floor was rubbed in with Coca Cola.

RENT: After “Today 4 U” a couple of moments were added by the actors after the director called, “Cut.” They are Tom Collins (Jesse L. Martin) making the “whipped” gesture and sound, and Angel (Wilson Jermaine Heredia) hopping out of the screen when he says goodbye to Roger (Adam Pascal).

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery: When Vanessa sits next to Austin in the last scene during their honeymoon, there is a piece of red tape over her left breast. There were photographers on the set and this prevented them from being able to sell topless pictures of Elizabeth Hurley to the papers.

Xanadu: The mural depicted in the film never existed. Rather, it was a digital image superimposed over one of the shops in an alleyway on Dudley Avenue and Ocean Front Walk in Santa Monica, California during post-production.

Bring It On: During the filming of the scene when Torrance, Missy, Jan and Les carpool to a football game, a driver, angry that the film’s motorcade was making him late for dinner, attempted to drive the camera truck off the road. It appears the character of Les is just an overly cautious driver who keeps checking his side mirrors. Huntley Ritter is really watching Mr. Road Rage get pulled over by the Highway Patrol.

The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas: Because of the film’s provocative title the movie was briefly seized by Slough Police in the UK during the 1980s UK video nasty craze after they believed it to be a sex film.

Clerks II: One of the things that most prompted Kevin Smith to make the film was a promise he made to friend Jason Mewes. If Mewes managed to stay off drugs he would be able to play the character of “Jay” one more time. Smith kept his promise.
