I’ve been busy girl lately, becoming an Aunty two more times in the last couple of months.

The ongoing trend of nephews on my side of the family continues, with little A born this week. I drove 8hrs yesterday to spend some quality time meeting this little cutie with my sister, brother in law and big brother nephew.

And here’s my BFF’s latest production, B, born about 2 months ago. I made a surprise visit (a 6hr drive each way) to visit Nat in the hospital and I was so bloody glad I did.

While I’m not that great with babies, to be able to visit newborns is amazing. The glow of the mummy, the sparkle in everyone’s eye, the eye-leaking of the visiting aunty… I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.

Thankfully I’ve married into a family with nieces, so I still get to buy fairies, butterflies and pink-coloured prettiness. It’s still fun buying trucks, cars and motorbikes, though :)
