I got one of those email forwards full of interesting facts. Or “facts”, if this one’s anything to go by:
Sydney harbor bridge, Australia ……..16 lanes of car traffic…..8 lanes in the upper floor, 8 in the lower floorÂÂ
Yes, there are 8 lanes of traffic on the Habour Bridge, but can someone please tell me when it suddenly developed a second level? Or are they getting confused with the Harbour tunnel?
I’m patiently waiting for the email that tells me Kangaroos hop around the centre of Sydney.
I was absolutely baffled by that email as well! I thought for a second that maybe I’d spent 23 years getting the harbour bridge confused with some other multi-leveled structure..
