Caturday: Dyson cats
This week I received my new Dyson DC39 Animal that I won at their “ball technology launch” (snigger) at the end of August. I didn’t blog about it because I was scared it would jinx everything and the free Dyson would never eventuate.
Because it’s the “animal” model, I had dreams of teaching Elvis and Bear to ride around on the Dyson. But it turns out they’re inspired to clean themselves:

No time for pony rides, must. clean. fur!
Every Saturday (almost, anyway) I post a photo of my cats to celebrate Caturday. Why don’t you join in, too? rainbowtatt’s Caturday is not fussed in any way if any Dogurday participants want to join in :)
Caturday: oh hai, is this your power cord?
You’re cool with my getting under your desk and unplugging all the cords, right?

It’s okay, I’m still cute!

A video of my cat having a good time (and one of my other cat pooping on the toilet)
Yesterday I threatened promised the adorable Elizabeth that I could one-up her video entry into the The Society of Crazy Dog Ladies. While the video of Harry is equal parts cute and crazy-lady, I think my double-entry into the Zomg-She’s-An-Insane-Cat-Lady Club is a winner.
Exhibit A: a video I grabbed of Elvis last week. Of me smacking Elvis. And Elvis loving it:
Exhibit B: a video of Bear pooping on our toilet (yes, like in Meet the Fockers): (Warning, the sight of cat poop shooting out of a cat’s bum might be confronting)
Verdict: I’m crazier than Elizabeth, no? :)
Caturday: pedicure
Those of you who own cats know the sounds cats make during this cleaning routine. It’s so A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G.
At least Bear had the courtesy to do it on the Ikea doormat we keep in the loungeroom for him.

Caturday: the blogging Bear
This photo was originally part of a post that I had cleverly scheduled to publish while I was in Melbourne for the conference. Turns out my poor blog was hacked while I was away (immaculate timing, really) and the scheduled post got lost as part of my frantic clean-up.
So, belatedly (and now not as topically appropriate) is a photo of Bear in his first few weeks at home. He discovered the cursor on Dan’s PC and was fascinated by it. Okay, so he’s not actually blogging – but if I squint, I can imagine that’s the WP-admin on the screen instead of some Windows Explorer emulator
Nyaww, baby Bear! With his baby stripes!

Happy Caturday, everyone!
